High School Day is a fun-filled day created to show prospective students what it means to be part of #GRAMFAM. Students get a chance to browse academic departments, tour campus, meet current students, attend football and basketball games, and much more. LSU Pre-College Summer Academy

*Open to any student who will be in 9-12 grade next school year.
The LSU Pre-College Summer Academy is a 3-week program designed to introduce you to your future major.  As a student in the Summer Academy, you'll choose a "mini-major" to explore through interactions with experts in the field and hands-on activities in your chosen discipline.  You'll also take College 101 to prepare you for the rigors of collegiate study, all while living in LSU residence halls and eating in LSU dining halls like a real undergraduate!
The "mini-majors" offered are:  Engineering, Pre-Med/Pre-Vet, Robotics, Computer Science, and Mathematics.
Grambling State University Summer High Ability Program

This program is for high school juniors (will be high school seniors in the fall of 2020) who have exemplified outstanding academic achievement.  Participants will earn a total of six credit hours during the summer.  Courses taken include english, mathematics, and science.  Throughout the program, participants are also able to connect with college students and professors to discuss their interests and possible college majors.  Participants will be housed in a residence hall and will eat at the university dining hall.
