Dear J-HHS Tiger,

It is our honor to welcome you to the 2025 – 2026 school year! We hope you all have had a relaxing and fun summer break. We are  extremely proud to serve as your Principal  and Assistant Principal at Jonesboro-Hodge High School. Our vision is to create an innovative educational experience which propels each student to succeed and grow in a global society, and our mission is to position all students for opportunity by cultivating skills for future-focused, lifelong learning  opportunities  to become catalysts of success and growth in a global society. However, this is not a solo act, we must work together. As a school, we will be infusing this vision and mission in all that we do. At J-HHS, we will continue to strive for Excellence, one step beyond. We will continue to support the social and emotional well-being of our students while looking through a lens of equity and inclusion. 

We are excited to share with you all that J-H has to offer and believe you will soon feel as we do, that Jonesboro-Hodge High School is a special place for all children.  Our teachers and staff are eager to meet their new students and begin this year’s journey with them. The dedicated staff at J-HHS has been working tirelessly to finalize classes and schedules, engage in professional learning opportunities, and update our instructional models, class routines, and expectations, all with the goal of fostering academic success and a true sense of connectedness and belonging for our students. Our primary goal is to ensure student proficiency in core academic subjects, so we will continue to analyze data, conduct observations, and review classwork to guide instruction and intervention.  We will work together to create a solid foundation for our students so that they have the opportunity to become self-directed learners, collaborative teammates, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens.  Our educators, support staff, families, and other education partners are excited about this school year.
